Requirements

  1. This printer driver works correctly with the combinations of the printer software versions.
    Please read a README.TXT file about a printer software version.
  2. Please note that this printer driver operates on a computer running Windows® 95/98/Me English Version.
    (For clock speed and memory of the CPU, make sure that the system configuration is recommended by the operating system.)

  • Improved the problem that specified paper source from application may be ignored after changing [Ignore Application Paper Source Settings].
  • Improved the phenomena where Direct Fax transmission cannot be sent from a specific application.
  • Improved the performance of printing when specifying unsupported trays in specific application.
  • Improved the problem where printer errors occurred when printing from Acrobat® 6 on custom paper.
  • Rectified the problem of abnormal termination and hung-up of the application when loading/unloading print driver.
  • Rectified the problem in printing the layout of booklet printing correctly.
  • Solved the problem that the specified value of [Resolution] may not be available after changing the value.
  • Solved the problem that setting multiple copies of Stapling may result in Stapling one copy all together.
  • Changed the textual information when "Always Use TrueType Font" is selected.
  • The selected results of [Phonebook File] can now be stored when the Direct Fax Driver dialog is opened from an application.
  • Improved the phenomena where font substitution cannot be done properly for specific characters.
  • Improved the phenomena where separators are not output to the correct location when making 2-Sided prints.
  • Improved the problem that Covers invalid can be specified if subsets is selected in Booklet Creation.
  • Improved the problem where print jobs cannot be printed with a specific application on MetaFrame® .
  • Improved the phenomena where printer fonts are printed even though [Always Use TrueType Fonts] is selected at [Specify Font] dialog.
  • Improved the situation where second and subsequent items are transmitted via G3 instead of G4, which is set as the default, during Broadcast Send using Direct Fax driver.
  • Improved the problem where transparent graphic areas were filled in on a specific application.

Installation

  1. Download and save the file into an empty folder.
  2. Run the executable file to unpack the download files.
  3. Install the unpacked software referring README.TXT.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING THIS SOFTWARE. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MUST NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE.

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  1. All intellectual properties, including but not limited to copyrights of the Software(the "Software"), are retained by Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. ("Fuji Xerox") and/or its suppliers.
  2. In accordance with the terms and conditions of this Software License Agreement (the "Agreement"), Fuji Xerox grants you ("Customer") a non-assignable, non-transferable and nonexclusive license to use the Software on a Customer's computer in Japan to use the equipment distributed by Fuji Xerox, its subsidiaries, distributors or resellers.
  3. Customer shall follow the instructions and/or restrictions specified by Fuji Xerox with respect to this download service.
  4. Customer shall not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software.
  5. Customer shall not copy, distribute, assign, rent or sublicense the Software to any third party.
  6. Customer shall use the Software with equipment and software program designated or specified by Fuji Xerox.
  7. The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will fuji xerox, its subsidiaries, distributors, resellers and/or suppliers be liable to customer for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages, including any lost profits or lost saving, even if fuji xerox has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party.
  8. Customer understands that Fuji Xerox may set forth other terms and conditions which are specific to the Software, different from or not provided herein, ("Specific Terms"). Further, customer understands that customer is supposed to be bound by the Specific Terms displayed on the computer screen during installation or extraction of the Software, or included in the "Read Me" file. The provisions of the Specific Terms shall supersede and apply, if there is any inconsistency between the terms and conditions herein and Specific Terms.
  9. This agreement is governed by the laws of Japan. In case that Customer wishes to export the Software, Customer shall comply with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law of Japan, the Export Control regulations of the United States and any applicable law of area respectively. If necessary, Customer shall obtain the appropriate license for re-export from the authorities concerned.
