Fuji Xerox has introduced two desktop laser printers
that incorporate both a high-performance PowerPC603e (200MHz) RISC
processor and a highly durable engine. The DocuPrint 360/260 print
at 36 ppm and 26.4 ppm (A4 long-edge feed) respectively, including
multi-page originals with photos. Both models are suited as shared
office printers as well as high-speed distributed printers for information
system needs. The DocuPrint 260 began sales on May 1, 2002, while
sales of the DocuPrint 360 will start on May 15, 2002.
The compact DocuPrint 360/260 achieve a high-resolution
comparable to 2400 dpi using Fuji Xerox's smoothing technology.
In addition, both machines can cover a broad range of office work
needs by printing up to 297mm X 900mm in length*1
and incorporate various print functions including 2-up/4-up printing
and automatic duplex printing*2.
