Fuji Xerox Launches DocuPrint C3530

Fuji Xerox has launched the DocuPrint C3530, an A3 desktop color laser printer that produces high quality prints at the world's fastest print speed* of 35 ppm in both color and black and white (A4 long-edge feed). With the same footprint as the DocuPrint C2221, the DocuPrint C3530 prints at a speed that is 1.6 times faster by incorporating an upgraded micro-tandem laser engine, as well as a 600 MHz PowerPC G4 processor. Sales began on October 7, 2002.

• EA (Emulsion Aggregation) toner with oil-less fusing technology: produces natural luster, higher quality prints, and increases the versatility of color documents by enabling users to annotate documents.
• Fastest warm-up time in its class: With energy-saving and high-speed free belt nip fuser, the machine achieves the fastest warm-up time in its class (40 seconds or less both at power-on and recovery from the sleep mode).
• High image resolution: True 1,200 dpi and 256 shades of gray achieved by a multi-level resolution of 600 dpi.
• PDL: Fuji Xerox's unique ART EX, PostScript^® 3^TM (optional) and HP-GL as well as HP-GL2.
• Process control and trickle development technology: The print-page color and density are controlled to an ideal level with process control technology. The trickle development technology maintains high image quality and supports high productivity.
• Long prints (305 x 1200 mm): useful for printing large posters and banners using various application software.
• Special media: Users can feed up to 169 g/m² stock from the standard paper tray.
• Paper capacity: Maximum 3,480 sheets: manual feed (100 sheets standard) + 1 tray cabinet (560 sheets) + optional large volume cabinet that accommodates paper sizes A3 to A5.
• Light Staple Finisher (option): enables batch processing of documents from printing to stapling.
• Security Printing: Users can store confidential print jobs in the printer's hard disk by designating the user name and password, in addition to printing jobs from the printer's panel. (Requires additional memory and optional hard disk.)
• High-speed automatic duplex printing: 28 ppm in color and black and white (A4 long-edge feed) with the DocuPrint C3530 model TD.
• Connectivity: 100BASE-TX/T and 10BASE-T network cards installed as standard and multiprotocols applicable including TCP/IP, NetWare, EtherTalk^® and SMB.
• Compatibility: Windows^® 95/98/Me, Windows NT^®4.0, Windows^® 2000, Windows^® XP, and Macintosh^® (requires an optional PostScript^® kit).
• CentreWare Internet Services: Users can confirm machine and paper status and set system values from their Web browser by designating the DocuPrint C3530 IP address.
• Direct printing of PDF files: With Contents Bridge function, the printer can directly process and print PDF files sent from Windows^® PC.

• Low power consumption: 8.5 W in the sleep mode.
