Fuji Xerox's Environmental Report 2002 is now available in both English and Japanese on the Web. The Report covers groupwide environmental activities or the Fiscal Year 2001 as well as standardized financial reports that outline the status of Fuji Xerox Group's environmental management for the benefits of its stakeholders.
This year's report covers the effects of Fuji Xerox Group's eco-activities related to its overall environmental impact, as well as its contribution to decreasing environmental impact in its sales and services activities and our customers' machine use. The report also includes activities related to business ethics, human resources, work safety, customer communication, as well as social contribution activities that Fuji Xerox Group conducts to maintain "harmony among society, individuals and companies."
Fuji Xerox sets its groupwide environment strategy to double its environmental efficiency by 2010 (compared to 2000), and to that end, all group companies are actively tackling issues to achieve their mid-term targets set for 2004 through efforts related to reducing CO2 emission and new resources, as well as chemical substances. All overseas manufacturing sites have acquired ISO14001 certification, and sales sites and other non-manufacturing locations are aiming to obtain certification by the end of 2004.
