Fuji Xerox's Products Receive Two
Awards Related to Resource and Energy Conservation

Fuji Xerox is the first in the industry to win the Energy Conservation Prize for four-years-in-a-row. The past award winning models were: the DocuColor 1250 Series (2000), the DocuPrint C2220 (2001), and the DocuCentre 707/607/507 Series (2002).

The DocuPrint 211 / 181 were highly recognized for their unique quick fuser that reduces energy consumption and achieve a warm up time of 14 seconds, and fast print of 10 seconds. In addition, the printers incorporate a printer controller that meets the International Energy Star Program standards, and reduces energy consumption through two power saving modes. The printers also achieve reduced environmental impact, i.e., low noise, ozone-less, and incorporate recyclable parts. Both printer comply with Japan's Law on Promoting Green Purchasing, and are labeled as a Eco Mark-certified products by the Japan Environment Association.

For the first time, Fuji Xerox also received the Commendation from the Director-General of the Agency of Natural Resources and Energy at the Japan Machinery Federation Awards for Energy-Conserving Machinery for its DocuCentre Color 400 CP/320 CP. Both models realize a quick warm up time through their free belt nip fuser (improvement from 550 seconds to 45 seconds^*) and low energy consumption (improvement from 32W to 8W^*), in addition to significantly reducing CO2 emissions by 60 percent^*.
