Fuji Xerox Launches Apeos IntegrationPlus 1.1Software development kit provides direct linkage

| To further expand the usefulness of the
ApeosPort multifunction device series, Fuji Xerox will launch
software development kit Apeos IntegrationPlus 1.1, an upgraded
version of ApeosPort IntegrationPlus 1.0, which was released
on February 3, 2005. Fuji Xerox has also developed a Web Browser
Option for Apeos IntegrationPlus as an option, which discloses
specifications to access Web applications from the Web browser
installed in the ApeosPort. Sales of both these products begin
on July 7, 2005. |
| Fuji Xerox has already partnered with eight
companies to provide total solutions to customers' management
issues by linking ApeosPort multifunction devices to their
products. The new web browser installed in the ApeosPort series
facilitates the connection with web applications, which has
expanded the potential uses of ApeosPort even further. |

| In the earlier version, Apeos IntegrationPlus
1.0 provided the architecture description and application
sample to ensure the effective design and development of software
to facilitate the linkage with the ApeosPort series. With
the upgraded version, Apeos IntegrationPlus 1.1 discloses
external access specifications as well, making it even easier
to develop software that allows linkage through the Web services.

| The Web Browser Option for Apeos IntegrationPlus
is a software development kit that discloses the external
specifications of the Web browser on the ApeosPort. An explanation
of user interface design and an application sample are also
included. |
| Users can use the Web browser screen on
the large color operation panel of the ApeosPort and store
scanned documents in designated folders on the Web. These
documents can then be selected and printed from the ApeosPort.
The software kit enables the effective development of applications
for a variety of different scenarios without a PC. |
