Fuji Xerox's color copy machines and color multifunction devices were ranked highest in customer satisfaction (in Japan) among business users, three years in a row, based on a customer satisfaction study conducted by J.D. Power Asia Pacific, Inc., a global marketing information firm.
This was the 13th study conducted by J.D. Power Asia Pacific for copy-machines-related products. The survey was conducted in May 2005, based on 3,333 responses of business users at small to mid-sized offices (ranging from 30-99 people) throughout Japan.
Fuji Xerox ranked highest in both color copy machines and color multifunction devices, far out-rating rival companies, by receiving especially high evaluation on product features. In the color copy machines category, Fuji Xerox also received top evaluation on sales and maintenance services features. This was the third consecutive year for Fuji Xerox to receive the top evaluation since 2003.
In the study, J.D. Power Asia Pacific reported that there are increasing replacements from black-and-white multifunction devices to color in small- to mid-sized enterprises, aimed at operational efficiency. Fuji Xerox is committed to continuously focus on increasing its customers' operational efficiency, as well as to providing services that will assist its customers in solving their management issues. Accordingly, Fuji Xerox intends to continue its activities aimed at increasing customer satisfaction in these areas.
