Fuji Xerox Starts e-Supply Business

Establishes Fuji Xerox Interfield Co., Ltd. Targeting Revenue of 100 Billion Yen in 2011



TOKYO, June 28, 2007 – Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. announces that it established Fuji Xerox Interfield Co., Ltd. on May 18, 2007 with the objective of starting e-supply services from August 6.  
Fuji Xerox Interfield will provide various products to customers through an e-supply service based on the Internet. Playing as core of Fuji Xerox’s e-supply business, the company also conducts; product planning, procurement services, development of an online purchasing system as well as management and operation of the website.
The range of products offered by the e-supply service will be accordingly expanded from office supplies, including copy paper and toner, to office equipment such as low-end printers. Having an internet-based purchasing system for these products boosts convenience and efficiency of customers’ diverse purchasing operations by enabling small-batch orders and reducing delivery time.
Fuji Xerox and its sales companies will handle the sales side of the e-supply service, working both to expand orders from existing customers and to explore new customers. Meanwhile, the new company continues to expand the services, seeking to increase sales to individual customers, and aims to achieve revenues of 100 billion yen by fiscal 2011.
