Fuji Xerox Sustainability Report 2007 Describes
New Challenges of Ethical Sourcing and
Traceability System
| TOKYO, August 1, 2007 – Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. has released its Sustainability Report 2007, which summarizes corporate activities in fiscal 2006 aimed at contributing to the realization of a sustainable society. |
| To enhance the amount of information available, the Report has both printed and Web versions. Akin to last year, the printed version has been produced in Japanese, English and Chinese, while the Web version is in Japanese and EnglishNote 1. The printed version comprises 54 pages and the Web version comprises 100 items and around 210 pages (both A4 size). |

| The purpose of the Report is to communicate a wide range of Fuji Xerox’s activities to all stakeholders, receive feedback and reflect the opinions in management in order to meet the expectations of society. The new report includes following two features to fulfill this aim. |
| 1. Report on initiatives to achieve “Three Challenges of Fuji Xerox” |
| In the fiscal 2006 Report, Toshio Arima, Fuji Xerox’s former president, spoke about “Three Challenges of Fuji Xerox”Note 2. This year’s report describes key efforts undertaken to meet these challenges, the current state of affairs, things learnt and remaining issues. |

| 2. Introduce management and performance of Fuji Xerox activities for different stakeholder groups |
| The “Management & Performance” section provides information on activities undertaken for each stakeholder group so that all stakeholders can easily access the information most pertinent to them. The printed version focuses on those items deemed to be of most interest to stakeholders, while the Web version has a more comprehensive covering. The Web version includes various navigation tools such as a report map and a guideline content index, making it much simpler to find necessary information. All pages are compatible with an audio browser so that the visually challenged can also enjoy the contents. |
| To provide third party opinions, Hiroyuki Tada, chief executive of Japan for Sustainability, and Junichi Mizuo, COE professor of Tokyo Institute of Technology, have reviewed Fuji Xerox’s CSR activities and the Report. |
