Ltd. has developed the ApeosPort-II 4000 / 3000 as well as the DocuCentre-II 4000
/ 3000, which are the base of the ApeosPort-II. With strengthened security functions
while copying, printing, faxing and scanning, ApeosPort-II 4000 / 3000 help establish
a secure office environment that prevents document information leakage. Sales will
begin on June 15, 2006. |
| Aiming at heightening business efficiency and productivity,
the scope of information sharing is becoming more comprehensive among departments,
operations and companies, which has increased the need to prevent the risk of information
leakage, especially from paper documents. In line with this need has come the necessity
for enhanced security functions in multifunction devices that can be operated over
the Internet. |
| The new AposPort-II 4000 / 3000 not only secures each copy,
print, fax and scan operation, but also increases the security of paper documents
through functions that allow users when printing / copying to embed output data as
well as to restrict reproductionNote 1. With the output
data, it is possible to track when the document was copied, which multifunction device
