| TOKYO, November 8, 2006 – Fuji Xerox has developed ApeosPort-II C7500 / C6500 / C5400 and DocuCentre-II C7500 / C6500 / C5400 as the base of ApeosPort-II to strengthen the line-up of the ApeosPort-II series, which incorporates enhanced software for document security as well as a Web service interface that enables multifunction devices to act as the gateway to mission-critical systems through the Internet. Sales will begin on November 10. |
| To boost management transparency and ensure greater accountability, companies are now required to digitize a multitude of document information existing in the workplace and implement measures toward effective internal controls while maintaining business operations. In line with these needs, it has become important to create an environment that enables paper documents to be linked with digital data stored in mission-critical systems, and retrieve necessary information quickly and accurately, while keeping information security. The ApeosPort-II C7500 / C6500 / C5400 enables such functions. |
| Basic functions include print speeds of 75 ppm in monochrome and 50 ppm in colorNote 1, and boast a resolution of 2,400dpi. |
