TOKYO, July 10, 2008 – Targeting the production color market, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. has developed a high-image-quality color on-demand publishing system, 700 Digital Color Press, which achieves output resolution of 2,400dpi at 71ppmNote 1 in both color and monochrome. Sales begin on August 1, 2008. |

The 700 Digital Color Press is a full-fledged light production color system, which reinforces Fuji Xerox's production color product lineup. In addition to the aforementioned printing speed, the system employs the following advanced, proven technologies that have been leading the production color market: |

The 700 Digital Color Press employs the high-performance PX700 Print Server developed by Fuji Xerox boasting a high-precision color management feature to meet requirements in the professional market, and therefore satisfy customers' sophisticated needs in color printing. |

Further, newly developed EA-Eco toner with enhanced energy-saving capability has been incorporated for the first time in a Fuji Xerox product. This toner can be fused to paper at a temperature more than 20 degrees Celsius lower than conventional EA toner, resulting in lower power consumption during fusion. |
