As official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM in the document creation and publishing category, FX will provide approximately 1000 color printers and monochrome printers in Korea and Japan to support the activities of KOWOC (Korea Organizing Committee for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM), JAWOC (Japan Organizing Committee for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM) as well as the press from all over the world in what is billed as the premiere global soccer tournament.

Setting the pinnacle in soccer, the world's most popular sport, FIFA World CupTM has brought memorable and exciting dramas to audiences around the globe for more than 70 years since the first event in 1930 in Uruguay. The 17th FIFA World CupTM has attracted the attention of not only Japanese fans but also fans worldwide, as an unprecedented event in the FIFA World CupTM history: It will be the first event in the 21st century, first in Asia and the first co-hosted by two countries, Korea and Japan.

Official Partner of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM status entitles Fuji Xerox to conduct marketing activities not only in Korea and Japan but also in other countries including Southeast Asian countries, Australia, New Zealand as well as Mainland China/Hong Kong, which were newly added to the company's operational territory in December 2000. The company will aggressively promote activities in these business areas* by supporting 2002 FIFA World CupTM to enhance Fuji Xerox Group's brand image.
